Quite often these days, I’m getting the thought that many geniuses of the past would pay everything to have at least a little bit of the opportunities we have. E.g. some tech we think of as an obsolete, some time ago it was a cutting-edge technology!
We, on the other hand, we don’t respect that. On top of that, we, the people of today, do lose our focus, dispersing it. And we’re not satisfied with what we have already.
Yeah, it motivates us to improve further, I know, I know.
But what if we’d just imagine people of yesterday, people of centuries ago, to have iPhones, laptops, electric cars? Would they fail to this Instagram doomscrolling trap? Or would they improve themselves with the means of the techonology?
Or is it, the technology, destined to be mostly wasted by the people of its generation?
